Springs Chess Club hosts annual tournament
Chess tournament resumes after taking a two-year break due to Covid.
An open chess tournament was held at the NG Church in Geduld Extension on September 3.
There were about 160 players, including those visually impaired. This tournament was a collaboration between Ekurhuleni Chess and the Springs Chess Club with an open invitation for other clubs and aspiring players to join.

There was a prize-giving ceremony for all the winners. There was also a social market where food and snacks were sold on the church grounds.
