SBHS learner qualifies for JKS World Championship in Tokyo

Chichima Sikhonde, a learner from Springs Boys High School, achieved a remarkable milestone this past weekend by participating in the JKS Nationals.

Chichima secured an impressive third place, earning him a coveted spot on the South African National Team for the upcoming JKS World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
Reflecting on his journey, Chichima expressed heartfelt gratitude towards those who supported him.
“I would like to extend my thanks to my Sensei who helped me throughout training,” said Chichima.
“It wasn’t easy, but in the end, it all paid off.”
He also acknowledged the unwavering support of his family, stating, “I also want to thank my family because without them I wouldn’t be in this position.”
