Two bodies found in unrelated incidents
The Springs police are investigating the separate discoveries.
The body of an unknown man was found near a local school along 12th Street in Springs on Sunday morning.
According to Springs police spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, an eye witness alleged that they found the man’s body lying next to the school’s fence.
Tshabalala said circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
“The deceased is unknown at this stage.”

In a separate incident, a man’s body was discovered hanging from a tree in an open field along the Paul Kruger Highway on Friday afternoon. Tshabalala said the discovery was made by a passer-by.
“At this stage, no foul is suspected and the police have opened an inquest docket,” he said.
