OUR Amazing Race: Know your rhino – Raphele
All proceeds will go towards rhino conservation efforts.
This November, Springsites are invited to participate in a day of fun, teamwork and adventure that will bring them together for a common cause – the protection of rhinos in Limpopo.
The rhinos are the pride and joy of the D’Arrigo family and, in collaboration with Insimbi Legacy Projects, they will bring to Springs a once-in-a-lifetime event, OUR Amazing Race.
Raphele is one of the rhinos who will be the beneficiary of the proceeds of OUR Amazing Race.
She is one of the biggest cows on the reserve. Raphele is 13 years old and is considered the best rhino mom in the world by those who have been raised by her.

She has four calves on the reserve and they have grown up to be majestic animals. Raphele is Rapula’s mom, one of the newest calves.
She has great family planning and only has babies when the resources are full of and the rain season has started.
Raphele is such an intelligent rhino and is like a stay-at-home mom. She doesn’t not wander far from points of importance.
She is a great rhino in a crash, does not fight and does not bully others. OUR Amazing Race will be held from 11:00 on November 2 at the Springs Mall. The theme is Out of Africa.
