The Springs Mining and Military Museum and the town are in the national spotlight. kykNET will bring the museum, the town and its recent historical restorations to TV screens all over.
Founder of the museum, Tony da Cruz was approached by Karel Prinsloo with a request for the programme and he eagerly accepted.
“This past Wednesday (April 2) a full production team including Dr Flip Loots and actor Simon Bruiders came to Springs and spent the day with Errol (Brits) and me.”
Segments, drone footage and interviews were shot at MMM Museum, MOTH Memorial, Springs Fire station, the War Memorial and a few Art Deco buildings in the old town.
