Freeze for a cause

Springs Girls’ High School invites you to dive into icy waters on August 1 and raise funds for the local SPCA.

The staff and learners from Springs Girls’ High School invite the public to let their dignity go in the deep freeze this Friday for charity.

The school will host its annual Polar Plunge at the school’s pool at 13:20 and invites the public to participate in or help with the initiative, which involves fun, courage and a worthy cause.

Participants can swim a length or walk the width of the pool. Entry is R10, with spectators charged R5. The proceeds will go to the Springs SPCA.

Make your payment to Ms Horne before or on the day of the event. For more information, call 011 818 5769 or email sghs@springsgirlshigh.co.za
