Protea Stage Productions stages Shrek the Musical

Local theatre lovers are in for a magical treat as Protea Stage Productions brings the beloved family favourite Shrek the Musical to the stage next month.
Featuring the company’s largest cast to date, the production promises plenty of laughs, colourful costumes and unforgettable performances for audiences of all ages.
Chairperson Lynsay Jonker explains that the show has two casts – the same cast members used in different roles, to give them more opportunity.
“Apart from having a total of 52 cast members – our biggest yet – we have close to 150 costumes for this production!”
She added the production is being presented by arrangement with DALRO (Pty) Limited, representing Music Theatre International (MTI).
