I am disgusted with the idea that whole stadiums are being vandalised.
I read in last week’s edition (page 6, January 15) that the Bakerton Stadium that was damaged in August last year is still not repaired. Read more about it here.
I also saw a whole building being demolished behind the PAM Brink Stadium.
Many people will have different reasons for taking the steel off buildings.
For whatever reason this is done, who buys stolen goods?
Why are our law enforcing authorities not in the position to nab these dealers?
And why don’t the metro, whose property it is, secure the stadium?
Someone is getting rich from the profit of selling these building parts, while the community suffers.
Where are the sportsmen supposed to change and shower?
This is bad for the community because they cannot host big sports games here and who says the sportsmen will be safe if they use the grounds?
