I am the caretaker at the building in Ermelo Road in Strubenvale, where young Zaden sustained burn wounds a few weeks ago when he apparently ran into a burning flat.
I would just like to take this opportunity to personally thank the firefighters for their quick response and also the Community Police Forum (CPF), for their support and help throughout the ordeal.
Residents Maria and Harry Beukes as well as Denise and Steven O’Brien, also need a special thank you as they really went out of their way to assist during the incident.
The above mentioned people truly made a difference in ensuring that the situation was handled efficiently.
