Close games at Ekurhuleni area Tennis Playoffs.

On September 9, The Gauteng East and Ekurhuleni area tennis play-offs for the Primary Schools Tennis League took place at GETA Complex, Lakeside, Benoni.

Male and female players from various schools in the Springs area took part in the hotly contested playoffs.

The Springs players were each assigned to teams consisting of players from Brakpan and Nigel.

The best players from each area were selected and competed in the playoffs against one another.

The team consisting of boys from Brakpan, Springs and Nigel finished fourth while the girl team placed second.
