Can I just say: Holy smokes!
What an awesome all-rounder movie!
Humour, tension, sorrow, elation, action, betrayal and so much more all rolled into one adrenaline-filled movie.
The latest instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise is, in all honesty, one of my absolute favourites.
Despite the glaring empty space left by the late Paul Walker, the cast in Fast 8 will leave your jaw slack and eyes glued to the screen.
The movie throws us a series of plot twists and ‘No way!’ moments.
As Dom turns on his team and his wife to work for a dangerous, but beautiful terrorist (our very own Charlize Theron) an enemy from the previous movie joins the team.
Tension is high at first as the team tries to manage without Dom and in the same breath, works to trust an enemy whose help they are in dire need of.
These unexpected curve balls will throw you for a loop and, like me, you’ll want to watch the movie twice in a row.
One would expect Fast 8 to leave you wanting, mostly due to Paul’s absence and although it truly isn’t the same without the gorgeous blue-eyed blond, you will be surprised by how fantastic this movie is.
I didn’t expect this sheer awesomeness.
If you are a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise and haven’t managed to get around to this one, do yourself a favour and watch this movie, please.
