Wright Park’s Fruition music group looks to go national
The trio of Sizwe Nsibanyoni, Tebogo Mokoena and Bafana Vilakazi says they hope this song will be the song that catapults them into the spotlight.
Wright Park music group Fruition have just released the music video for their hit single, Ayeye.
The trio of Sizwe Nsibanyoni, Tebogo Mokoena and Bafana Vilakazi, says they hope this song will be the song that catapults them into the spotlight.
For the group, the making of the song and music video was a journey that started in 2015 when producer Nsibanyoni and vocalist Mokoena were introduced by a mutual friend.
“We knew each other from around the neighbourhood since we live in the same area.

“A mutual friend who knew we were both into music introduced us and from there we just started working together.
“The Springs Fiesta Mentorship Programme was our first big test where we had to submit our tracks, and we actually won that contest.
“From there, we knew we could go far together,” says Nsibanyoni.
The group says like any upcoming group they’ve faced their share of struggles.
“Getting our name out there has been hard, but seeing what we’ve gone through only encourages us to work harder so that we can eventually help other talented artists get their big break.
Ayeye is a feel-good song that encourages women to love themselves as they are.
Fruition says as a group they hope to grow nationally and internationally.
“We take inspiration from artists and DJs we enjoy, but we’ve created our own sound that is unique.
“With this single, we’ve received a lot of support from the local community radio stations and even the young children were dancing to it.
“By December, we hope to have to whole country on its feet,” says Mokoena.
