One person was fatally injured after multiple motor vehicle accidents on the N12 and N4 today

Heavy mist resulted in three serious accidents on the N12 and N4, followed by multiple and less serious accidents.

Three serious accidents occurred on the N12 and N4 this morning.

One of the accidents allegedly occurred close to the Olifants River Bridge on the N4 and involved two trucks.

 

The other two accidents occurred on the N12, one near the Merriedale bridge, where a vehicle allegedly collided with a truck, and the other near the S-bent curve, where three trucks were involved and vehicles collided with them.

 

The N12 closed from eMalahleni to Johannesburg.

 

Ambulances were dispatched, and the N12 was closed from eMalahleni to Johannesburg to ensure the safety of road users.

 

According to road users on the N12, multiple and less serious motor vehicle accidents followed the serious accidents.
