Petrus is still missing

Petrus Marree left his home on the morning of July 8 and has reportedly been missing since.

There is still no sign of the 61-year-old who has been missing since yesterday.

Petrus Marree, affectionately known as Peet went missing on July 8.

Reports indicate that the 61-year-old left his residence in the morning, telling a domestic worker that he was walking to Witbank SAPS.

He has not been seen since, and the family said they have visited the station several times.

“My brother suffers from dementia. He has done this before, but was found and brought back to my house,” said Chris van der Walt.

When he was last seen, Peet was wearing blue jeans, a grey jersey, a white cap and black formal shoes. He was also carrying a black and blue backpack.

If you have seen him or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact van der Walt on 063 106 6518.
