Sorry, you can’t do your learners licence
Frustrations high due to the abrupt halt of learners licence applications.
The computerised learner’s licence test system, LicencePro, has been discontinued and aspirant drivers cannot do the learner’s licence at the local licencing office.
“This is a huge frustration,” some of the aspirant drivers at the licence office said.
“No learner’s bookings till further notice due to the discontinuance of the L-Pro system, the notice on the board at the licence office reads.
The available dates for driver’s licence applications are July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28 for all codes.
The municipality’s spokesperson Mr Lebo Mofokeng did not respond to the question of when the system will get the green light again.
