Woman shot and killed in Old Corination

Witbank police are looking for two suspects who murdered a woman and attempted to murder her husband at their home.

Two armed suspects stormed into a house in Old Coronation and murdered a woman.

The incident is believed to have taken place on Thursday, March 9.

According to reports, police were called to a murder scene, where the complainant showed them a body wrapped in a blanket lying on the ground when they arrived.

The two suspects are said to have entered the house armed with a gun and a knife, with one of them pointing a gun at the woman. At the time of the incident, the woman was allegedly holding a teacup, which dropped on one of the suspect’s legs, leading to her being shot.

It is further alleged that the suspects fled with undetermined amounts of cash after shooting the complainant in the right buttock.
