What makes an excellent photographer?

We all know a good photographer must have an eye for detail to ensure that all elements, the lightning, composition and subject are embraced within the frame.

Then we get extraordinary photographers. Someone with creativity and imagination, someone who knows that photography is an art.

One such a photographer is Fezile Mashiyane, a grade 7 learner from Robert Carruthers.

She took the theme ‘perspective’ from the recent Artium Arts Festival and turned it into a photo that can be interpreted in a million ways.

Fezile’s photo bowled the judge over. All the elements just came together perfectly.
