High-impact mining tour this May as Mining and Technical Exhibitions returns to eMalahleni

The Emalahleni Mining, Engineering & Mineral Processing Exhibition will take place on May 5 at the Greenside Golf Course.

The solutions-driven Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) will bring together suppliers and miners for its combo tour in Mpumalanga this May.

As the industrial heart of the country’s energy and metal production, Mpumalanga plays a crucial role as a mining hub for the continent.

The exhibition will provide a platform for meaningful industry conversations and exposure to new technological innovations in the market.

Kicking the tour off, the Emalahleni Mining, Engineering & Mineral Processing Exhibition will take place on May 5 at the Greenside Golf Course (near Greenside Colliery), from 13:00 to 17:00.

This will be followed by the Middelburg Mining, Engineering & Mineral Processing Exhibition on May 7 at Aerorand Primary School, Middelburg (off Soutpansberg Road), from 13:00 to 17:00.

On the day, suppliers will be exhibiting practical, field-tested solutions that directly speak to on-site challenges, all in line with the daily operational challenges faced by mining operations.

From cost pressures and energy instability to safety demands and the need for improved productivity, these shows are specifically tailored to bring about solutions for mining professionals.

The platform provides miners with an opportunity to engage directly with suppliers, while creating an environment where decision-makers, engineers and procurement teams can move beyond emails and proposals, to face-to-face, real technical conversations and ask relevant questions.

Some of the expertise visitors can expect to see on the day includes assembling and supplying industrial gear units and variable speed drivers, automation and drive technologies for mining, conveyor belt cleaners, drilling equipment, ventilation, water treatment, engineering repairs, instrumentation, underground transport vehicles, furnaces, and so much more.

This exhibition is for the industry by the industry.

Miners are encouraged to use this opportunity to interact with suppliers and share their operational pain points to make the most of the exhibition.

Also, attending the expo help mines to stay competitive.

The event is free of charge for mining professionals.
