
On July 16 at 21:30 official police patrols lead the officers to a tuck shop in Old Coronation, where the vendor was apparently in possession of dagga.
A search of the small shop turned up a plastic bag containing dagga. The 43-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possession.
On July 17 officers where patrolling the Central Business District (CBD) during the afternoon. They spotted a suspicious man as he allegedly made a deal. The police officers approached and searched the suspect. The suspect was in possession of drugs and was arrested.
The same day at about 20:30 police patrols arrested a young man for possession of drugs while walking down a street in Del Judor. The officer approached the suspect when he saw him drop something. It was a bag of dagga. The suspect claimed that it apparently did not belong to him. The 18-year-old was arrested.
