The suspects, Thabang Makofane, Danny Mampane and Lucky Modiba were arrested on Friday, July 18 at about 11:30.
The police, Constable Nhlapho and Colonel Daniel Khumalo were on patrol in Hlalanikahle Extension 1 when they noticed a group of people chasing the suspects.
They immediately followed the group and managed to catch the suspects, who were armed with firearms while one was carrying a toy gun as well.
After catching the first suspect, they followed the second suspect who was found being assaulted by community members. The third suspect was found hiding in one of the houses in Hlalanikahle.
