On August 16 an uncle came to his niece’s place of rest and demanded that they let him into the house, or he will break down their door.
The two sisters, who had been asleep at the time, went and opened their door. As alleged by the complainant, her uncle asked her to put on her shoes and follow him. She did not defy him as it is respectful to do as you are told by your elders.
Unfortunately for the girl, she did not know that having been woken from her sleep at 00:15 would turn into a real nightmare. The young girl was apparently raped by her uncle after he had led her to a deserted house in Klarinet Extension 6.
He then apparently told his niece that she is now his wife because of what had just happened.
The girl did allegedly scream during the ordeal, however no one heard her and she managed to get back to the room where she was sleeping with her sister and told her what had happened. They went to the police station to open a case and the uncle, a 26-year-old, has been arrested.
