
The Ogies Visual Policing Unit and the detectives arrested 34 suspects for various crimes. The arrests were made during their daily operations between September 1 and 4.
Altogether 14 people were arrested for breaking various road laws under the Road Traffic Act. Four suspects were apprehended for residential burglary. Six common assault cases were reported and the alleged attackers arrested. Seven cases of theft saw successful arrests by Ogies SAPS.
One person was arrested for abduction, and another was arrested for common robbery. One person spent a night in jail for drinking in public.
Ogies SAPS would like to thank the community as 92 suspects have been arrested this year as a direct result of community input.
