A woman, who was on her way home, was met by men who had the intention of taking advantage of her as she was alone. It was not the first time she used the road to travel, however this time things were different.
At about 20:30 on September 18, the victim was on her way home in Klarinet when she realised that she was being followed. She, out of instinct tried to change her route to avoid trouble, however there were other men approaching her from in front of the road.
The woman said that she tried to turn back and go a different route, as the next street she could use was not that far from where she was walking.
She alleges that as she turned around, the man following behind her had caught up and grabbed her, covering her eyes before kicking her in the stomach. The woman was then dragged to a nearby deserted house, partially hidden by bushes, where she was raped by three suspects.
She was apparently told not to scream or she would be killed. The suspects fled from the scene and they have not yet been arrested.
