On Monday, November 17 the six alleged suspects appeared in Witbank Magistrates Court for a bail application for allegedly shooting Mr Jackson Mthembu, the former ANC spokesperson.
The suspects all aged between 24 years old were caught in Ackerville.
A week ago the suspects applied for bail but the state opposed bail and they remain in custody.
All six suspects face charges of attempted murder and robbery.
