On Sunday, November 23 a video from Uganda went viral when CCTV footage caught little Aneela being tortured by her nanny. Reports state that the little girl who was stepped on and tortured by her nanny is okay. Aneela is just a year and few months old.
The parents of the little girl had instinctively installed a CCTV camera in their living room after they continuously found unexplained bruises on their daughters body.
Every time the nanny was questioned regarding this, she always denied having any knowledge of injuries on the baby’s body.
The parents who eventually installed a hidden cam, luckily caught one of the nanny’s many brutal tortures on tape.
The nanny is currently in jail after she was reportedly sentenced to 3 years in prison. With many calling for a longer sentence or even death, for the level of brutality she meted out on the baby.
It’s not the first time a video like this goes viral. The question remains with so many instances of ‘Nanny’s from Hell’ do parents really know if their youngsters are in good hands while they are at work?
