The man, only known as Makwakwa, is believed to be from Mozambique and was staying alone in his house. His decomposed body was found naked in the outside toilet on Friday, November 21 at about 07:00.
After noticing a bad smell coming from his house, neighbours went to investigate. They found his body outside in the toilet in a sitting position.
The neighbours said that he was a loner and went on with his business without caring about what was happening in the area. The neighbours noticed that it has been a while since they saw him outside his house. They said he usually did some gardening and sometimes fixed his mud house.
According to Mr Oupa Sedibe, a community leader in the area, they were concerned about unknown people who stayed in the area and died there.
Early in September Mr Daniel Chauke, believed to be about 40 years old was, like Makwakwa, staying alone in his shack in Lekazi Section of Old Coronation. He was also found dead in his shack.

Makwakwa has been staying in the area for the past 18 years according to Sedibe.
“He just kept to himself and did not participate in community issues. He did not fetch water from the nearby communal tap but went to the one far away from here. He did not have friends or relatives. Even his house is unique and mysterious,” said one of the neighbours.
“We will embark on campaign so that neighbours know each other. We will encourage all the people to bring their identity documents to their leaders. Even those from Mozambique must bring their passports and we need to know about them to make our work easier,” explained Mr Sedibe.
Makwakwa’s body was collected by the police at about 21:00.
