On Saturday, December 13 at 06:00 on the N12 highway an accident occurred. When the police officer arrived on scene, he noticed two vehicles on scene.
There was a mini Cooper and a black BMW on scene, the driver of the mini Cooper told the officer that the vehicle that hit the two pedestrians drove away from scene.
The two pedestrians that were hit were declared dead on scene.
Another accident occurred on the Verena Road on the same day at 14:00. A Hyndai Sonata was involved in the accident.
The female driver and her child were taken to hospital for treatment on their injuries. She explained to the police officer what actually happened she said; “that she just lost control of her vehicle and the car over turned.”
On Sunday, December 14 at 22:30 an accident occurred on the Tweefontein Road an accident occurred. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and the car was towed away from scene.
Another pedestrian was killed on the N4 highway when he was hit by a car.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening, towards eMalahleni when the driver of a black Nissan Navara bakkie was following another motor vehicle in the slow lane.
Next minute the driver in front of the Nissan swerved out as he noticed something next to the road.
For the driver travelling in the Nissan it was too late as the pedestrian was already in the road.
