Tuesday, December 16 marked two weeks since Mr Jason Stanley Davies (30) has gone missing and there is still no trace of him.
It is believed that Davies disappeared at Hatfield Gautrain station, his last communication was with his roommate Ms Laura Irving.
She has been told by the police that they are following strong leads to his whereabouts.
“They are currently investigating that he might be playing poker online,” continued Irving.
Irving last spoke to Davies over WhatsApp on Tuesday, December 2, as he was on his way to the University of Pretoria after he got off at the Gautrain station.
Irving said that he told her that he thinks he is being followed as a man climbed on the same taxi as he did near the house. The man got off at Rosebank Gautrain station, where they boarded the same train and got off at Hatfield station.
At the time of Davies’ disappearance, he carried a blue Quicksilver rucksack containing his laptop. He also had his ID book and cell phone with him.
The Pink Ladies Organisation has gone to Irving to see if they can get more information from her about Davies, so that they can start looking out for him as well.
For now Denton is worried sick about her Godchild and is trying everything in Cape Town to help find Davies.
“My sister is in a terrible state, as she is worried sick about her son,” said Denton.
Davies has short brown hair, light green eyes and is about 1.7m tall with a medium build.
