On July 2 Mr Samora Malatjie parked his car at the shopping centre in Tasbet Extension 1. He headed to the post office only to return to an empty parking space.
His blue Toyota Tazz had been stolen.
“My house keys, Id book and two cell phones were in the car, not to mention the new license plate which I was going to have fitted,” he said.
No eye witnesses have come forward regarding the theft of Malatjie’s vehicle with registration CNZ027MP.
In another case reported to police a woman parked her Volkswagen Polo at the Portuguese Hall in Nita Street on July 3.
When she returned to where her car was parked at about 22:30 she found it had been stolen, the vehicle is valued at R130 000.
Ms Roxanne Faria was contacted for comment but stated that she did not wish to comment on the vehicle theft.
