Cats returned back in their enclosures at Jugomaro

All 12 of the big cats that were loaded into trailers of Wednesday, were finally placed back in their enclosures the following day.

By Thursday, July 9 at approximately 16:00 Ms Rosa Fernandes confirmed that they still had five cats to removed, but the rest of the cats had already been placed back into their enclosures.
That evening all 12 of the cats were back in their enclosures unharmed, they were busy waking up but they were all traumatised by the ordeal.

On Wednesday morning, approximately 20 men arrived at Jugomaro Predator Park and started darting the cats and loaded them into trailers including their famous resident Panjo.
On the same day an urgent appeal went out that as many people that could help the Fernandes family by stopping the vehicles from leaving the property.
Approximately between 60 to 70 people stopped there, the whole ordeal went on through out the night and the next day.

Liquidators approached the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday and brought an urgent application for police to assist them in removing the cats back into their enclosures.
“It’s now going to take me two to three months to get inside the enclosures because these cats do not trust humans anymore because the way they were got treated,” said Mr Justin Fernandes owner of Jugomaro.
