Bongani Tau (22) was sentenced for three years for housebreaking with intent to steal and theft. He was arrested for a crime committed at Garden Estate in Reyno Ridge. He was released at the Pretoria Central Prison on March 20 last year on correctional supervision. Bongani was instructed to report at a correctional service office based in Emalahleni and was also instructed not to leave the jurisdiction without informing the office.
On February 19 this year his father reported to the office of the correctional supervision that Bongani has left his place of residence and his whereabouts were unknown
Police are investigating a case of absconding because he did not have a right to leave the agreed jurisdiction without informing the office and has failed to comply with the correctional supervision instruction.

Police are also looking for Ben Ngwenya (38) after he was arrested for possession of drugs and was sentenced to R1 500 or six months imprisonment. In addition the accused was sentenced in terms of Section 276 (1) (H) Act of 1977 to 24 months correctional supervision. His sentence was 16 hours per month for a total period of 24 months. He was supposed to do general cleaning duties.
Ben was also supposed to participate in programmes determined by the supervision committee, like a drug programme at Sanca. He was declared unfit to possess a firearm.
