A 24 year old woman from Old Coronation begun Women’s month on a sour note when she was raped twice at her home at Old Coronation.
The woman was asleep at her home on August 1 when she heard someone kicking at her door at 01:00. She heard a male’s voice instructing her to shut up as he grabbed her and pushed her on the floor and strangled her with both hands. She alleges that he took off her panty with force and inserted his penis into her vagina by force. He then went outside and came back and raped her again.
The criminal apparently said he wanted money from her husband,. He took her phone, took money from her bag and table. After the incident she left her place to go to her neighbours place as she feared to be alone.
The woman said it’s someone she knows but only from a distance. Police have not arrested any suspects yet.
