Vosman police reported that a body of a teenage girl was found in one of the streets in Vosman.
The police reports that on Saturday, August 8 at about 07:00 the body of the 16 year-old teenage girl was found by a neighbour who then alerted another neighbour. The body was found in the back of the yard in the area.
It is said that the victim had stab wounds on the left side of her chest and she was found facing up. According to the police there were blood stains in the streets leading to the street and police believe that she was stabbed there and dragged into the yard.
According to her friends they were at one of the taverns in Hlalanikahle where they were enjoying themselves. Her friends said they last saw her when she was going to the toilet and she never came back. She was later found dead in Vosman in Extension 17.
A case of murder has been opened and investigations are underway.
