Reflectors presented at Vosman Police Station

The reflectors were to be used by members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF)

Recently reflector jackets were presented at the Vosman Police Station by the Department of Community Safety,

Security and Liaison in the civilian secretariat from KwaMhlanga regional office.
The reflectors were to be used by members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF). Mr Vuyisile Sibanyoni said the reflectors were a rollout as indicated by MEC Vusi Shongwe which he promised to undertake, as already 200 reflectors have been presented. The department still has to present another 100 reflectors to make the promised number of 300.

The department is still waiting for Kusile management to set a date for the presentation of the 100 jackets. It is hoped that the jackets will came in handy to members of CPF in their patrols in joint operations with the police in fighting crime as they will be clearly visible.

Colonel David Khumalo representing the station thanked the department and was positive that their fight against crime will be extended to other areas and will bring good results.

“CPF members will now be highly visible and will cover more ground. We need to get more members on the ground in our fight against crime. We need to recruit more members as crime is increasing daily” stated Colonel Khumalo.
