“Children are close to my heart and to support such a wonderful event is an honour,” the singer said.

He brought along a fellow artist, Danniela Deysel whose poems he is busy putting lyrics to.

In a disguise as Sarel Fourie, Chris Chameleon showed another side of his musical talent.

The Teddy Bear Tea Party was held in aid of the Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused Children, Cansa and Reach for a Dream.
Organiser, Andries du Preez said he started this event six years ago and is more and more astonished by the support from the public.

Dalene Bishop from the Teddy Bear Clinic said The Teddy Bear Clinic was established in 1986 to provide holistic child protection services.

Vaughan, Marius and Logan Pretorius enjoyed the Teddy Bear Tea Party on Saturday, August 29.

“Our mission is to minimize the secondary harm to children and their families when they enter the child protection system. We provide expertise, information and support in order to make the journey a healing one,” she explained.

She said that is costs R5 362 per child to see them through these services.
