Accident near Extension 14

Two cars travelling in different directions collided on the Mathew Phosa Drive near the Engen Garage.

The badly damaged vehicles a grey Alfa Romeo and white Toyota Quantum taxi which collided in the Mathew Phosa Drive near the Engen Garage on Thursday, August 27.

The two, a grey Alfa Romeo and white Toyota Quantum taxi collided on Thursday, August 27 at about 06:30. One of the passengers in the Alfa Romeo was badly injured and was taken away by a Langamed ambulance.

According to the statement from the police the driver of the Alfa Romeo said he was at the robot waiting to turn right when the Toyota Quantum was travelling straight and they collided at the robots forcing both vehicles to the side of the road. Both vehicles were badly damaged and a passenger from the Alfa Romeo was also badly injured and had to be taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

Police are investigating who was wrong causing the accident
