It was rather a quiet weekend for the police of eMalahlani making only three arrests concerning drug related problems. The first incident happened on September 4 while police officials were patrolling the CBD when one of them noticed three men at Haig Street. He approached and searched them of which he found one of the men, a 43 year old with a small white plastic of pinch.
In less than three hours Police made another arrest in the CBD at Main Street in connection with drugs. After the 34 year old male spotted the police official, he ran away and threw a plastic on the ground. When the police official picked it up she found a transparent plastic with dagga inside that was wrapped in a newspaper. Luckily the police managed to run after him and arrested him for being found in possession of dagga.
The last incident happened on September 5 when police were patrolling at Klipfontein and spotted two males. They were searched and arrested for being found in possession of drugs.
