A couple was robbed in their house when a robber allegedly woke them up with torchlight and a gun.

The couple was apparently asleep on September 16 when at about 03:00 they heard a noise at the door to their bedroom. As they sat up to see who it was, the robber held a torch up and shone the light in their faces to apparently prevent them from seeing his face.

They were ordered to keep quiet or die. The robber had a firearm aimed at them the whole time. Apparently the victim tried to get out of bed and the robber fired a round at his feet. The bullet ricochets off the floor and struck the victim in the leg.

The suspect then demanded their cell phones which the frightened couple handed over to him. The robber then allegedly ordered them to sit on the bed quietly while he made his escape.
