Mr Matsane Mona became a victim of robbery when he was robbed at his home.
Mona (26) of Hostel 1 Block 4 in Thushananga KwaGuqa reported to the police that they were asleep together with other two people on Monday, September 21 at about 02:00, when a window was forced opened by an unknown suspect.
After opening the window, the suspect pointed a firearm at them and forced them to open the door. The suspect was dressed in black clothes and his face was not covered. He used a cell phone torch to search in the house. He took a bag, searched it and took cask as well as three cell phones; one of the cell phones.
The victims were then forced to another room and they were covered with a blanket. They waited for a while until it was quiet and when they realised that the suspect had gone, they came out of the blanket.
No injuries were reported and no shots were fired. The case was reported to the police and they are investigating a case of armed robbery. No one has been arrested.
