Horse carcass leaves a stench in the air
The neighbours in Adela Street were horrified when carcass of a horse was dropped off outside their neighbour’s gate and the dogs started eating off it.

On Thursday, November 5 when the neighbours started arriving home from work they noticed a bloated dead horse carcass in their neighbour’s driveway.
The next morning the neighbours were woken up by the stench of the rotten horse which was now in their neighbour’s garden.

The dogs in the garden started eating on the horse.
Neighbours could no longer deal with the smell and the phones calls to the various organisations that deal with situations like this was contacted.
The fully grown horse was euthanized and the carcass was dumped in front of the owner’s garden.
By Friday afternoon the carcass was no longer in the garden and the neighbours around the area, are not sure what happened to the carcass.

According to the Witbank SPCA, the horse had to be euthanized as there was something wrong with it.
The owner of the horse allegedly never made arrangements with the person where the horse was kept what was going to happen with the carcass.
It’s alleged that the horse could no longer be kept there and the carcass was dumped by its owner’s house.
