This is how New Year’s was celebrated
eMalahleni was a hive of activity as residents shuffled their feathers to get ready to bid 2015 goodbye.

In general the roads were fairly quiet, but all over the city parties were in full swing.
WITBANK NEWS popped into a few venues to see what was on offer.
For the Portuguese community New Year celebrations are high on their priority lists.
The Portuguese hall was beautifully decorated, fine food was dished up and the music complimented the festive mood.
The next stop was Brazenhead where a colorful atmosphere greeted party goers as the color fest was in full swing.
Leven made sure the rhythm was going and everyone had loads of fun.
At Nashville the dance floor was jam-packed. Couples danced to the tunes of golden oldies and also the new tunes had them doing a few steps on the dance floor.
Pink Panther’s street party once again was a huge hit. Patrons welcomed the New Year with Gerhard Smit, owner of this very popular nightclub.
As the clock ticked down and the New Year was announced, people cheered and made resolutions that they will hopefully keep in 2016.
