The office will replace the mobile caravan that used to sit in the parking lot of the centre. People had to line up outside in the sun to get certifications done but now the office is much more of a convenience for the community.
Not only did they unveil the office on July 15 but they also announced their partnership with local security companies to fight crime more effectively at shopping centres.

One of the new security measures being implemented at Saveways Centre is to register each car guard on duty and create a database to keep them accountable should a crime be committed on their watch. The sector commander for the area, Capt Christina Sebeko will be overseeing the implementation. Brig Motha said thanked all the role players for making this project possible and also sent out a clear message, “we will make sure this office is always staffed and that they are on duty until 16:00 and not earlier,” she said.

Afriform sponsored much of the furniture for the new office as part of their continued contribution in the fight against crime. They also got involved in the local community policing forum in sectors 1 and 3 here in eMalahleni.
