Residents show their dismay after being without electricity for several days in Jackaroo Park.

The community who is fed up with no service delivery after going without electricity for days stopped motorists from using the R555 on Monday, November 28 and Monday, December 5.

Jackaroo Park’s electricity is supplied from Blanchville Substation via two 11Kv feeders which form a ring feed supply.

The first feeder runs along Adele Street and through the open veldt, and the second feeder runs along the Old Middelburg Road.

According to the municipality vandalism and theft are to be blamed for the electrical problems the community experienced.
