
A man claims he was beaten up by a mob of farmers when he went to drop a friend off on the outskirts of Dorsfontein.
On February 25 Mr Abraham Nkosi, a 54-year-old man was allegedly assaulted.
On Saturday evening Nkosi was asked to drop his friend off near the farm Dorsfontein, while driving to the area he claims his vehicle was shot at by the farmers of the area, he brought his vehicle to a stop.

Mr Abraham Nkosi claims he was assaulted by farmers when he went to drop a friend off at the farm.
According to his statement to police he said that he was forcefully removed from his vehicle, tied with cable ties and beaten.
Nkosi asked the men what he had done and was told he was trespassing, after the men searched him and his vehicle they released him and told him to drive off, which he did.
“Police are currently investigating the case of assault and will question the suspects as per the victim’s identification,” said Sgt Yster Shabangu, Kriel Police communications.
