Woman dropped off and raped

She started walking under the bridge when she was approached by two unknown men who were speaking Sepedi.

A young woman who had travelled from Maputo was dropped off in eMalahleni and then she was raped while making her way to home.

On Wednesday, March 8 at 17:00 a woman alleged that she travelled with a mini bus from Maputo and got dropped off by the N12 Bridge near Tasbet Park.

She started walking under the bridge when she was approached by two unknown men who were speaking Sepedi.
One of the suspects had a knife in his hand and the other was holding a screw driver.

They then said to the woman that she must give them her money, by that time they were talking about taking her handbag and cell phone instead. That is what they did and threw the rest of her belongings away.

While they were busy harassing her, one suspect started strangling her, while the other suspect with the knife pulled her dress off and cut her underwear then he started raping her.

Once the suspect was done raping her, he told her to leave otherwise they were going to kill her.
As she looked back she noticed that both of the men started running away.
