A small group of people gathered to show unity with other masses from across the country for the Anti-Zuma march.
This took place on Friday, April 7 on the corner of OR Tambo and Louise Street. Even though there was a big march held at Tshwane, local citizens of eMalahleni from different organisations and walks of life felt it was befitting to come out and show their support for the national shut down.

Local business man, Mr Gustav Fourie indicated that this was done in order to call for the President of the country Mr Jacob Zuma to step down. It was also to create awareness for what is going on in government, as the state is not in good shape.
“The meaning behind our stickers is that the African National Congress (ANC) is responsible for what Zuma does, as a result we are tired of their actions and we are taking a stand against him,” said Gustav.
