Last week, two people suspected of possesing dagga, were apprehended by police.
On Wednesday, April 26 the two suspects were arrested in the Central Business District. One was arrested in Walter Sisulu Street. A police official said that he was patrolling the area when he came across a suspicious man in the Nedbank Centre.
After the official searched him, two transparent bags were found in his possession, containing dagga.
Another suspect was arrested around 13:30 on the same day, when an official patrolling in Diedericks Street, came accross another suspect. After police searched the suspect, a substance suspected to be dagga, was found in his possession.
Both suspects were arrested.
