Two suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen pots.
On April 25 police were out on duty patrolling the Central Business District when they came across two men carrying cooking pots.
The one suspect was known to police as he was previously arrested for narcotics abuse.
Police stopped the two men and questioned them as to where they acquired the pots.
The suspects, aged 35 and 26, told police that they were the suspect’s parent’s pots.

Constables – Clement Sakude, Spiwe Mashlangu, Anele Mhlana, Mahlatse Masinga, were the arresting officers.
Police took the suspect to his supposed house only to be informed that the man’s parents were long deceased.
Police then questioned the people renting the house and found that the house had been burgled, the door forcefully opened and that the pots had been stolen from the house.
The two suspects were detained for possession of suspected stolen goods, which included three large silver pots, two medium sized pots with lids, six tablespoons, two serving spoons, one small sugar shovel, an egg turner, and silver cutlery.
