The driver of the cash van reversed the cash van into the parking lot to collect money.

The crime scene at Totally Gas after a cash-in-transit took place on Saturday, July 1.

As he was reversing he heard gunshots, stopped and pressed the panic button.

The next thing, he noticed a blue Isuzu double cab bakkie, silver Mercedes Benz and a white BMW 3 series blocking the van in.

It’s alleged that the one suspect climbed out with a firearm and started shooting at the driver who was inside the cab.

Two other guards inside the van were forced onto the ground.
