Thumbs up to Phola police for arresting three suspects found in possession of drugs and dagga. The Trace Unit members followed information which led them to nab the suspects during an operation done in Phola on Thursday, June 29.


Three suspects were arrested after being found in possession of drugs and dagga. This was during an operation at Phola on Thursday, June 29.

The arrest was made around 03:30. Given Magagula, the first suspect was found with four pinches of drugs at New Stand, Michael Mathebula the second suspect was found with six sachets of drugs and the third suspect Freddy Hlumbane was found with dagga that was inside a cooler box and a tin at Iraq Informal Settlement.

The trio arrested at Phola appeared at the Witbank Magistrate Court (Court A) on Friday, June 30 where they were released. Investigations are pending on this matter.
